Jay Geenberg

Jay is a born and raised Austinite, bouncing around the Hill Country for years. Yoga started as a part of a workout routine, the healing and restorative benefits quickly became apparent. Coming from an athletic and injury based background, training with Camp Utopia seemed a fit when she was accepted into the Mayfly Project with HK Yoga in Sequin. This Project was a love based opportunity to send compassionate yoga teachers into the world to spread kindness like glitter at a Scout craft night.

Completing certification in September of 2017, she has been a full time teacher and student in Wimberley, San Marcos, and New Braunfels. Devoting herself to the practice of ‘feeling good’ not just in the body but the mind and spirit as well. Her classes are a blend of Gentle and Strong maybe a bit silly at times with the feel good goal in every movement.

Jay is a mother of two humans and as many animals as possible including goats, chickens, tons of dogs and a couple fuzzy rodents, with a mini farm in the making. She explore many artistic outlets and plays with the local roller derby team, SMRR.
